VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNUTIES

Volunteer opportunities generally include the following categories

Administration

Front Office Reception Screen calls, route public requests to staff, take messages, greet and assist visitors and clients and perform general housekeeping.

Administrative Support Volunteers assist staff with important day-to-day duties at all skill levels such as record keeping, data entry, correspondence, events coordination, office assistance.

Peer Advocacy

Peer Advocates are HIV+ volunteers that assist with HIV information and participate in required ongoing training. Librarians help to develop and maintain the facility libraries.

Speakers Bureau

Volunteers will speak to diverse groups about HIV information and experiences.

Client Services

Hairstylists provide haircuts and personal care guidance

Emergency Relocation volunteers with household moving.

Maintenance

Facility Maintenance of the service sites
