RESOURCES
- CDC
National Center for HIV, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHSTP)
NCGSTP is a division of the CDC and provides national
leadership in preventing and controlling human immunodeficiency
virus infection, sexually transmitted diseases, and
tuberculosis. The Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) is recognized as the lead federal
agency for protecting the health and safety of people.

National Prevention Information Network (NPIN)
The NPIN Web site is designed to share HIV/AIDS, STD,
and TB resources and information. If the information
here does not answer your specific questions, NPIN
encourages you to call their Reference and Referral
staff at 1-800-458-5231.
- Food
and Drug Administration (FDA) HIV/AIDS Program
The FDA provides on policies related to HIV/AIDS,
including the regulatory processes affecting development
and approval of new therapies, the development of
federal government policies and regulations related
to HIV/AIDS, and details on approved agents.
- HIV/AIDS
Bureau (HAB) HIV/AIDS
Bureau (HAB)of the Health Resources and Services
Administration (HRSA) consolidates all programs funded
under the Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources
Emergency (CARE) Act. HAB is the largest single source
(next to the Medicaid and Medicare programs) of Federal
funding for HIV/AIDS care for low-income, un- and
underinsured individuals.
STATE
RESOURCES
- ADAP
(AIDS Drug Assistance Program) ADAP is a California's
prescription drug assistance program funded by Ryan
White CARE legislation and state funds. This program
is administered by Professional Management Development
Corporation (PMDC) under contract with the California
Department of Health Services.
